It is easy to join our team and help serve the community!
Here are some steps to become a volunteer:

1: Self Assessment: Click here to answer a few short questions to determine if volunteering with the Coosa Valley Chapter is the right choice for you.

2: Review and complete the following forms:

New DSHR Members
DSHR Volunteer Application
Code of Business Ethics and Conduct
Confidential Information and Intellectual Property Agreement
Health Status Record
Personal Statement of Understanding
Physical Capacity Grid

3: American Red Cross Background Check: All employees and volunteers of the American Red Cross are required to request a background check. The background check consists of a social security number verification and a seven year criminal look back.

4: Interview: Please contact the Volunteer Services to schedule an interview. Volunteer Services manager will review volunteer opportunities and help determine an appropriate placement for you. You may schedule this interview by calling: (706)-291-6648 or emailing: info@coosavalleyredcross.org
