CPR Saturday Held March 1, 2008

248 individuals participated in CPR Saturday in Bartow, Floyd, and Gordon counties on March 1st. The Adult CPR class provided hands on training for cardiac and breathing emergencies. Participants learned how to check the scene for safety and then check the victim and provide appropriate care, rescue breathing, and CPR. Participants also learned to provide care for the conscious and unconscious choking victim.

 CPR Saturday is an annual event that is offered free to the public. The event could not take place without the continued support of our sponsors and the volunteers that come together to make it happen.
